Please help us to raise £10,000 for our Fighting Fund

Historic Chapels Trust is committed to caring for its exceptional collection of Grade I and Grade II* listed chapels which tell the fascinating story of religious diversity in England over more than 300 years.

The last 18 months have been the most challenging in our history with the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in our magnificent buildings closed for a year and resulting in a loss of income of £50,000 and preparing for the funding from our longstanding major donor Historic England ending in March 2022.

At this moment in time we are fighting for our survival. We hope that you will help us by making a donation to our Fighting Fund to raise £10,000. Doing this will support essential repair and maintenance at our chapels and will help fund our work with local committees to develop new activities at their chapels so that more people can learn about their history and heritage.

You can make a contribution by clicking on the DONATE button at the top of the page, by visiting easydonate.org/HCTE4 or by sending a cheque to Historic Chapels Trust, Society Building, 8 All Saints Street, London N1 9RL

Alternatively, you can donate £10 by texting HCTE4 to 70191
If you would like to get in touch regarding a donation please leave a message for Vikki Thompson, Fundraising Consultant, on the Contact Us page.

Leave a lasting gift

Leaving a gift in your Will to Historic Chapels Trust could be your personal memorial to protect our remarkable collection of Grade 1 and Grade II* chapels so that future generatons can visit and enjoy these historic buildings for many years to come.

If the time is ever right and after you have looked after the needs of your loved ones we hope that you will consider remembering Historic Chapels Trust in your Will. Giving in this way will costs you nothing and a gift of any size will make a really big difference to the charity. It can also reduce inheritance tax because the taxable value of the estate is calculated after charitable bequests are made.
